Suzannah’s Success Stories

I first joined RWJ Scotch Plains in January 2015. I was rehabbing a lower back issue, and water exercises were a perfect fit. I was in the water so much that my hairdresser made me get a special swim product to eliminate the chlorine smell. Enter Suzannah as a sub-instructor. “The pool is doing nothing for your bone density.” Out of the water and into the studios, I went. Then I progressed to Personal Training. And then, sadly, I experienced “dropped foot.” So, I turned to Suzannah for her specializations. Her various training- licensed masseuse, Eldoa training, stretch training, work with Parkinson’s patients, and Z Health (just to name a few)- got me back walking! To this day, I receive custom-tailored workouts twice weekly and Pilates Reformer instruction. Body by Suzannah!

I’m a work in progress! I have just returned to the gym after a knee replacement. When I learned I needed a total knee replacement, Suzannah worked with me to strengthen my leg. The result was that my recovery was shorter. My physical therapist acknowledged my trainer, Suzannah, as having done a great job preparing me for the surgery to make my recovery faster. It’s been four months since the surgery, and I am back in the gym and playing golf again. No problem! Still working on strengthening, but we’re getting there. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and Suzannah has helped me get there!
