I started working with Kelli when I was pregnant with my daughter. I had always been active, but was having trouble getting back into the swing of things after having my son. I knew I needed to get into a routine before baby number two was born. Kelli was great at focusing on my pelvic floor and ensuring I was comfortable. I had to take a break due to pregnancy complications, but I jumped back in once my daughter was born. Pregnancy always does number-on knees, so Kelli has been helping me with strength and stability. Since working with her, I’ve significantly improved my joint stiffness. Kelli is also a great motivator. I started slowly— just meeting with her once a week. It wasn’t easy to commit the time with two little ones, but she helped me build a comfortable routine. Now on top of our training sessions, I’m strength training two other days on top of hikes and walks with my kids. As we had discussed in our initial goal-setting session, I’m well on my way to getting my body back, and it feels good.
