I have had the excellent experience of being guided by a skilled trainer, Kevin Barry. Kevin has consistently planned training sessions to help me progress toward specific goals. When we began working together, I was recovering from complications of a severe shingles infection that compromised the nerves and muscles in my right arm. Sessions with Kevin have helped me recover from the effects of that infection and guided me in developing more overall fitness. Kevin makes full use of the variety of equipment available at the Center. His planned routines include equipment from elastic bands to free weights to pneumatic resistance machines. Of course, his knowledge helps him plan exercises that also require minimal equipment. He is an encourager and an approachable “coach.” His interest in my progress is a good motivation for me to take advantage of other fitness routines. Working with Kevin’s guidance has helped me become stronger and more generally fit!
