Isaiah’s Success Stories
Maurice C.
I came to the Center on a journey to improve my overall health. After I started my training sessions with Isaiah, he said to me he could see my potential and push me to achieve what I would call moderate gains in the first sessions.
After I completed my sessions with Isaiah, I saw what he saw in me. I got more energy and lost a few pounds. He continued checking on me to ensure I was still on the path.
I’ve decided to re-engage with Isaiah for another 36 sessions. Thanks to his help, I hope to see greater results than in the first session. I’m on my way!

Isaiah has worked with me periodically over the last year to implement my stretching, strength, and cardio training programs. With each new program, he has explained the philosophy of each activity and how to perform it correctly. As I have been performing these activities regularly, I have seen persistent improvement in strength and flexibility. Isaiah’s direct and easygoing personality makes him a pleasure to work with.

I always thought success stories were reserved for athletic gods—people who run marathons, scale mountains, or at least breeze through a 5K. My story is different. It’s a work in progress, and it started slowly.
It took me months to walk into the Center office and ask for help. It felt like asking the Navy SEALs to get me off the couch. I felt silly, out of place, and overwhelmed by the gym and all its complicated machines. With a knee injury that made even driving difficult, I thought working out was out of reach.
Then I met my trainer, Isaiah. Everything changed. I went from occasionally showing up to consistently working out twice a week for over a year. No matter when I find time for myself, Isaiah is there with a plan tailored just for me. He was mindful of my knee and helped me strengthen it, so I forgot which one was injured.
I was intimidated by the weight machines, which always seemed to be taken by super-fit athletes. But Isaiah encouraged me to face that fear. He met me where I was and guided me, step by step. Sure, there’s tons of information online, but nothing compares to having a trainer who truly understands your needs.
He’s taught me about nutrition, muscle function, and how sleep and food affect motivation. He never judges, just calmly encourages. Some days, when I’ve eaten poorly or barely slept, we have our “have mercy” workouts. Other days, when I think I can’t lift a penny, he gets me to push just a little further—and I surprise myself. This past month, I leg-pressed 100 lbs. I never imagined I could do that.
Weightlifting has changed my life. I now have energy after long workdays to enjoy time with my family. This past year, we’ve traveled to Alaska, Mexico, and Montreal, and I’ve kept up with every packed itinerary.
Good health truly touches every part of your life. Gyms like RWJ and trainers like Isaiah are quietly starting a revolution—making weightlifting accessible, especially for women like me who never thought it was possible. For that, I’m deeply grateful.

Isaiah is professional, friendly, and supportive! He has pushed me to do better and believes I can always go a bit more, even when I don’t think I can. I love the way he takes the time to explain why we are doing specific exercises and the impact they will have. I thoroughly enjoy my hour with him (even if I grumble a bit)! I feel better, I look better, and I’m more confident

Isaiah is an exceptional trainer—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He takes the time to thoroughly explain the neuromuscular aspects of workouts, including muscle recruitment and movement dynamics, which has made a massive difference in my training.
Thanks to his guidance and support, I achieved several major goals last year: mounting a horse without using steps, completing a triathlon, and building muscle mass.
Isaiah is truly an asset to the Center, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed at the gym. I might have given up otherwise!
Thank you, Isaiah—keep up the amazing work!

I’ve had three personal trainers in my lifetime, and I can honestly say that working with Isaiah has been the most rewarding experience by far. I started training with him nearly four months ago, and I haven’t looked back—or regretted the referral I received from the manager who connected us.
At 56, my goal was to become healthier and stronger, and Isaiah’s personalized workouts have helped me do that. I’ve been down 10 pounds since we began, I’m lifting heavier weights, and most importantly, I’m seeing results. Each session brings accountability, motivation, and a challenge that pushes me to improve.
Training with Isaiah has been one of the best investments I’ve made for myself, and I genuinely look forward to every session. Thank you, Isaiah, for your dedication and support on this journey!

Isaiah is a very conscientious trainer. We meet twice a week, and he focuses on my problem areas. My friends have told me that they’ve noticed that I’m walking faster and my posture is more upright. Since I’ve been training with Isaiah, I have lost weight. I’m pleased with my results thus far. He’s a very personable young man!
